Gum in Pink Linen Tea Towel

A$35.00
Out of Stock

Hand Screen Printed Linen Tea Towel

Illustration by Sally, originally as a pencil drawing from her public narrative art design of the Yallabirrang Learning Story Fence. Hand printed by her with organic certified ink onto 100% linen. Each tea towel is 50 x 70 cm and will shrink slightly after a first wash. ‘Gum’ captures the lost Red Gum forest of the Richmond and Collingwood flats near Birrarung, the Yarra River, on Kulin Country. Inspired by the values of the early 20th century Arts and Crafts movement in Australia, the tea towel embodies hand made design, slow production and a quest for truth.
