The Birds is a fairy tale about a small migratory seabird who attends to the terrestrial needs of a human child. The text is rich with philosophical and spiritual imagery and draws on humanity’s relationship with the mysterious and the longing for transformation. The Birds - A Fairy Tale was published in May 2023.
The linocut illustration is packaged in a biodegradable cellulose sleeve backed with recycled boxboard. All prints are signed and numbered by Sally. Hosho Hik- a clean white coloured paper, soft and strong
